THIS MONTH

In July we are honored to have Burt Rosen do a lecture on 'Promoting Yourself Via Web Sites'. This should be a very informative lecture and you'll learn a lot. Remember, you do not have to have a computer or be online to benefit from a website promoting your talents as you can refer your customers to your site and it works for you as a salesman. You come across to the customer as a professional entertainer. Bring your 'Bio' , pictures and e-mail address along with any ideas that you may have for promoting your business on the Net or any web sites that you'd like to share.

LAST MONTH

Last month we had a fun time with props and learned a few new things. Sherry shared her magic hat and giant bubble maker. Candy showed us an acrobatic puppet that twirled on a stick and a Black & Decker balloon inflator . Lyn brought along a mini umbrella and we all came up with some interesting ideas for its use. I shared something that I had learned about at HMO, that is, DON'T use a sharpie on your balloons, rather, use a dry erase marker. The dry erase marker will not re-liquefy when the balloon pops and permanently stain your customer's clothes.

All at the June meeting agreed on a new logo for the club. We'll have it on our "The Funnies" newsletter header in the next issue.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Remember that our club is registered for the 4th of July parade in Anaheim Hills and we receive $100.00 for participating in this event. ( Call Paulette for the info )

SPOTLIGHT FOR JULY

Burt Rosen will be our featured lecturer for the July meeting. Burt founded Rosen Systems, Inc. in 1997. He has over 25 years experience in the computer systems field. Burt's experience includes designing and installing turnkey hardware/software systems for businesses in many fields. Burt has also provided training services for many companies and has taught in seminars at CSUF and California Polytechnic University, Pomona and other locations. We're in for a real cyber treat!!!!!!!!!!!!
