Hello, you Great Wonderful Laughing and Loving Clowns of Funny Business, what an awesome person, instructor and teacher we had in June, don't you agree. Everyone I spoke with after the class was so  pleased with what a great gift of giving that he presented and how informative he was on so many things regarding the business,  he truly had something for everyone in his class from us ole timers to the people that had not even picked up a pump yet. I have received nothing but praise for the great DVD, even my nine year old grandson, has learned how to make three balloons, after watching the DVD once. If you were unable to see him last month we will make sure to have his info available at the meeting. You want to get one of his DVDs, they are priceless! Thank you so much Dale for sharing all that you know and love with us. And thanks to Wendy for scheduling and bringing Dale to the club.

Oh, speaking of priceless the one and only Balloon extraordinaire Ken Stillman known in the awesome world of balloons as "Flash" is on his way for this July meeting. You DO Not want to miss this!!!! Bring a friend or two or three or maybe even four.  I had the privilege of seeing him at HMO in Grand Terrace a few months back. He illustrated the balloons from his new DVD “Speed Twisting”. All I can say is WOW! I don't care if you are a beginner or advanced or in between, these creations will take you to a new level and have your customers, clients, friends and family oohing and awing as you twist these new balloon creations.

Remember there is a very small fee of $10 for non-members, also be there on time we will be having the class before our regular meeting, due to Flash's schedule, our meeting will be called to order after Flash has completed his teaching. So be there ON TIME so you don't miss out on anything!!!!!! If you have your 360 balloons bring them, if not I have someone that will be bringing 360s that you will be able to purchase.

Special Thoughts:
Wendy our wonderful former President was unable to attend our last meeting as she was trying to get prepared to go out of state to take care of her Mother who is ill. I hope that some of us can lift Wendy and her mother up in prayer, also Wendy's family in her absence. Emails are always welcome to bring a smile to a tired soul!

P.S. If you know someone that is sick and shut in or in the hospital and would like for some one to visit please email Boo Boo  clowns4ministry@yahoo.com and if you are interested in going out and visiting people to share a smile let me know.

New Stuff: Well  as you know we have a few new members and we are about to have 15 more people join this month We have had a few people that were not doing so well getting up and down the stairs at our old meeting place! Two of our old new members, Klinko and Princess Pipsqueak  have labored and found us a great new place to meet it is bright and cheery and just 2 miles away from where we are now between the 57 and the 22.  We will start meeting at our cool NEW COOL HANG OUT for our JULY MEETING so that we can accommodate all of our members.

There will be maps hung on the door of our old meeting place for those that don't hear about the change in plans. We do not want to leave anyone behind. We believe all of the members will be pleased with our new place! We have our own private room available to us from 6:00 p.m. to 10:p.m. so if before the meeting you want to have dinner just kick it time with a friend, do some networking with someone new or after the meeting have a face painting or balloon jam we are welcome to do so!

A special Welcome to our New Members and to those of you returning, it will be great to see your Smiles!!!!!!!!!

           Logo Red Nose Response

WITH MORE & MORE DISASTERS HAPPENING AROUND THE WORLD, RED NOSE RELIEF IS NEEDED MORE THAN EVER.

The weather is now getting bad in the mid-west and south.  Kansas and Oklahoma are having FLOODS, FLOODS & more FLOODS!  And if you are listening to the news, RED NOSE RESPONSE is really responding in those areas.  The clowns are going into the shelters and cheering up the children and working on the adults also.  If you want to become involved in California RED NOSE RESPONSE contact me for any information.

I have a reminder to anyone who wants to assist others.  I brought this up in another newsletter article but it is worth repeating once again.  The director of the Performing Arts for Life & Education Foundation (PALEF), Charles Douglas (“Chucko”) needs our help.  He has a troupe of youngsters are performing a play this summer which will feature a variety of clowns.  If you need to recycle your clown shoes or make-up you can box them up and send them to the following address: PALEF, Attn:  Charles Douglas, 5030 South Harvard Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA  90062-2403

Any donation is tax deductible. Their website is www.palef.org.  Any assistance would be helpful to this group.  Thank You!
