Her lecture will include , the secrets of ventriloquism, the ventriloquists alphabet, the basics of learning ventriloquism, puppet manipulation, character voices, lip control and she will share resources and do a vent performance for us. This promises to be a fantastic lecture so bring your puppets and be ready to learn. This lecture will be free to Funny Business members and only $5.00 for all non- members. Membership dues are $12.00 for the year, which runs June 1st through May 31st , and are prorated with a minimal membership due being $6.00.

LAST MONTH

In February we had an excellent lecture by Bill Sy,
The Magic Guy. Bill showed us many effects he uses in his children's parties and reviewed with us the things he does to organize his performances and a guideline that we can follow to improve our shows. We even saw his magic assistant, Butterscotch the Rabbit, appear magically and perform a card find effect. What a blessing to be there and learn from his lecture. Thanks Bill and Butterscotch for a wonderful evening. We also learned how to get an affordable 1-(800) line to help promote ourselves, and you can call National Comtell @ 1-(800) 987-8911 for more info.

NEXT MONTH

In April we are going to have a class presented by Flash, the Balloon Artist. Flash is one of the premier balloon artists on the West Coast and you're sure to learn a few new twists to put in your balloon repertoire. Get ready for a fun packed exciting evening of balloon antics.
