Come to the Circus

The Circus is the theme for this months meeting because Stan “Skippy” Edwards will be talking about his experiences in the circus and will show us some of his circus routines. You don’t want to miss this class. It is educational, funny and very entertaining!

A Bit About Skippy Skippy Dee Klown got his start with RBB&B Circus, he has also performed with King Royal circus, Funs a Poppen circus and with his friend and partner Bruce "Charlie the clown" Johnson put on a circus for the Sacramento Star. Skippy has performed at several fairs including the Orange County Fair. He performs a lot of his great routines at parades. Skippy is a member here at Funny Business and has also been a member and president at The Laughs On Us and Klassic Klowns.

Prez Boo Boo

 -Pom-Pom on behalf of Proud and Fun To Be Your Prez, Boo Boo           

February brought us a WONDERFUL demonstration with the mother and son team of CANDI & KIWI.  They had on their costumes and showed us their whole show.  It was FANTASTIC. They got the audience involved in being part of a band and performing, to even wearing wigs.  They showed us their professional sound system and their songs and how they got them.  And onto KIWI doing juggling followed by some magic with the “Do You Believe In Magic” song in the background.  They did their “make a cake” skit followed by games.  Then onto their questions and answers about anything in their show and that was very informative.

(Games, puppet shows, magic shows, balloons, face painting, photos, prizes, concessions,crafts, fun .......) Tickets - $2 per person

BBQ lunch at additional cost

Klown Kollege Graduation Show - 1:00pm - 2:15pm (featuring 15 new Laguna Woods clowns) Tickets - Admission is free

Tickets to the carnival and graduation show are required.

Also, We are looking for donations of prizes for our carnival. Prizes will be awarded to all who attend, children to adults. Anything you would like to donate please bring to the next Funny Business meeting, on March 9th.
